I had this dream 2 nights ago, and I remember it pretty vividly. Any help interpreting it would be greatly appreciated.

(side note- I live in Atlanta, GA with my immediate family (mother, father, and younger brother and sister), but I talk to my friends in rural New Jersey very frequently. They always ask me “When are you coming home?” and I want to go back to visit very much- I would much rather live there than here. I have a fiancee here in Atlanta and am happy with him, and he loves it here. After having this dream, I'm very confused.)

In the dream, I had these huge white wings (like I'd imagine an angel would have). and I could hide them. and no one was supposed to know about them. but I told a few people because they were like “HOW ARE YOU HERE!?” because I was in New Jersey (I live in Georgia). I mean, as far back in the dream as I can remember, I was floating over New York City. don't know why there, but whatever. and then I flew for what seemed like forever, but I finally got to where I “knew” where I was (thinking back, I don't recognize the place). My family that lives in Jersey were all together on a train or something, and I kinda landed on it and got in, and told them… I felt really powerful in the dream; I felt really strong– mentally, emotionally, and physically. I felt kinder, more sympathetic (I think that's the right word to use here…?).
Then I went to… somewhere. But there were a lot of people I knew– friends from high school. I think one or two people saw me land (didn't tell anyone I had wings), and only a few people out of the roughly 10-15 there recognized me immediately. But the people who saw me land pulled me away from everyone else and, after hugging me and being glad that I was back, asked me if I really had wings or if they were just going crazy. So I showed them my wings, and then I woke up.

Hi VKP,

Sorry for the delay. I am having de ja vu, I think I already answered this. Not sure what is going on.

Anyway, I think you are correct in assuming this has to do with NJ and GA. The wings represent your ability to “fly” in life, spreading out your wings. You seem to be in control, able to handle things and you are going where you want in life. The question is though, is the dream saying that you should or will go back to NJ, or is it saying that you can stay in GA. I THINK the dream is saying that you can fly wherever you are, it matters not. But that you can (and maybe should) stay in GA, that you have the ability to soar and you can always “fly home” when needed. But everyone is happy and impressed with your life and your abilities.
